On 7 August 2024, UUBO introduced its inaugural Pro Bono Connect event, marking a significant step in its commitment to social impact. This year’s theme, “Empowering Communities through Pro Bono Partnerships,” highlighted our firm’s steadfast commitment to social impact and community engagement through our pro bono and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The event aimed to connect with clients, partners, and other stakeholders, foster dialogue on maximising social impact, and explore opportunities for collaboration with entities aligned with our values and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event featured insightful discussions and presentations from our esteemed collaborative partners, including TrustLaw (the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono legal service), HACEY Health Initiative, The Justice Project, Caritas Spain, and the Linking Hands Foundation.
A key highlight was the launch of UUBO’s first-ever pro bono impact report, showcasing the firm’s contributions to community development.
At UUBO, pro bono service is deeply woven into our firm’s culture. We believe in our vital role in using our legal expertise to strengthen and uplift our community.
We are honoured to provide quality legal services pro bono to organisations committed to achieving their social missions.
