UUBO advises the International Finance Corporation on its provision of a US$45 million financing package to IPT PowerTech

Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie has advised the International Finance Corporation on its provision of a US$45 million financing package to IPT PowerTech, a leading telecom energy services company operating across Africa, including Nigeria, and the Middle East.

 

The financing will support the expansion of IPT Powertech’s telecom energy services activities in Ethiopia, Liberia and Sierra Leone, enhancing access to reliable and cleaner power solutions for telecom networks.

 

This investment represents IFC’s first direct infrastructure engagement in Liberia in a decade and in Sierra Leone in six years.

 

The Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie team was led by Banking and Finance Partner, Joseph Eimunjeze, with key support from Senior Associate Chisom Okolie and Associates Anjolaoluwa Shittu and Chinenye Okoro.
