Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie is delighted to have advised Helios Investment Partners, a leading pan-African private equity firm, on the Nigerian corporate, regulatory, and antitrust aspects of its indirect acquisition of majority stakes in Beta Glass PLC and Frigoglass Industries Nigeria Limited.
Beta Glass is the largest glass container manufacturer in West and Central Africa, providing packaging solutions across multiple sectors, including soft drinks, beer, spirits, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Frigoglass Nigeria is a related company whose principal activities include the manufacture and sale of crown corks and plastic products.
This transaction aligns with Helios’ global investment strategy across more than 30 African countries, including Nigeria. We are proud to have supported Helios on this significant transaction and to have contributed to the continued evolution of Nigeria’s consumer goods sector.
