Our Employment law team is pleased to have hosted a learning and engagement session on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, for our clients in the oil and gas sector titled “The Release of Employees in the Oil & Gas Sector: A review of the case of Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria v. The Minister of Petroleum Resources & 2 ors”.
This interactive session was facilitated by our employment team’s partner, Ozofu Olatunde Ogiemudia, and our associates, Victoria Agomuo and Dumebi Anike-Nweze.
The knowledge session gave insights into the recent development with regard to the termination of employees in the oil and gas sector, and the application of the Guidelines for the Release of Staff in the oil and Gas Industry, 2019. The session included questions, answers, and contributions from our clients.
