The NBA-SBL is a specialised section within the NBA dedicated to advancing the professional growth of commercial lawyers and enhancing business law standards.
With a distinguished career marked by significant contributions to the NBA-SBL, including roles as Vice Chair and Executive Secretary, Ozofu has consistently demonstrated her passion for service. Her influence extends beyond the NBA-SBL, as evidenced by her membership on the Advisory Board of Women in the Profession and her pivotal roles in shaping Nigeria’s legal framework. As Chair of the Technical Advisory Committee for the drafting of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 2020, the Thematic Lead of the National Assembly Business Environment Roundtable (NASSBER) Regulatory working group, as well as her role as the private sector co-chair for the Technical Sub-Committee for the 29th and upcoming 30th Nigerian Economic summits, Ozofu has played an instrumental role in advancing Nigeria’s business environment.
