We are honoured by the recognition that has been accorded to various female members of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie by the IFLR1000 in its annual #IFLR1000WomenLeaders shortlists from 2018 to date.
In its latest (5th edition) announcement, we are delighted that a group of UUBO honorees named as IFLR1000 Women Leaders for 2022, represents one of the highest numbers of recognised lawyers, per firm, in Nigeria to date, and includes partners Folake Elias-Adebowale, Yinka Edu, Ozofu Olatunde Ogiemudia and Adeola Sunmola.
The publication identifies the most ”prominent female lawyers working on financial and corporate transactions and contract, licensing, and regulatory project work within their markets” who meet the eligibility criteria of having ”outstanding reputations within their markets, have expertise and experience of working on complex deals, or who have risen to hold leadership roles with their firms or their practices”, or combine these attributes, based on submissions, market research and client and peer feedback in each of the IFLR1000’s 120 featured jurisdictions across the world.
