UUBO’s Christine Okokon Sijuwade (partner) and Faridah Orimobi (senior associate) were co-contributors to the latest publication by the African Private Equity and Venture Capital Association’s (AVCA) Legal and Regulatory Committee on merger control in Africa.
Christine and Faridah, alongside other Nigeria lawyers, contributed to the Nigerian perspective on competition law arrangements, including notification requirements, filing fees, enforcement actions and probability of enforcement, remedies, political considerations, recent interesting cases, and prospective changes to legislation in the area.
