Adeola is a partner in Udo Udoma and Belo-Osagie’s banking and finance, power, projects, and infrastructure teams. Her areas of practice include cross-border lending; syndicated lending; non-interest finance; debt restructuring; financing for power, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects in Nigeria; project development and project finance, and anti-corruption compliance and investigations.
She has several years of experience advising local and international banks and corporates, regional and multinational energy companies, development finance institutions, and private equity funds on projects involving oil and gas assets, ports, roads, power plants, steel mills, cement plants, and real estate development.
Adeola is an honoree of the IFLR1000 Women Leaders, 2022, an elite ranking category reserved for the most prominent women lawyers across the world. She has been consistently ranked as a ‘Highly Regarded’ Lawyer by IFLR1000 for her Banking and Finance; Project Development and Project Finance work and by the Legal500 for her Energy and Natural Resources competence.
She is a 2019 recipient of the ‘Nigerian Rising Star: 40 under 40’ award by the Nigerian Legal Awards, designated for young lawyers under the age of 40 who will shape the future of the legal profession.
Adeola sits on the board of various companies such as the FGN Sukuk Roads PLC- the Federal Government of Nigeria-owned issuer of non-interest finance bonds; Syarpa, a Fintech company which facilitates cross-border payments by leveraging digital assets solutions in Africa and around the world and other private companies including WTC Nigeria Limited.
Adeola is a member of the Steering Committee and the Board of Trustees of Women in the Profession (Nigerian Chapter), an initiative of Cyrus R. Vance Centre for International Justice.
Her interests include women’s empowerment, fashion, and travel. She also enjoys participating in capacity-building initiatives in her areas of practice.
