Last week, our partner in the Banking and Finance, Power, Projects, and Infrastructure teams, Adeola Sunmola, participated in the 31st African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) Annual Meetings (AAM2024) and the AfriCaribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF2024).
The event, themed “Owning Our Destiny: Economic Prosperity on the Platform of Global Africa,” took place from June 12 to 15, 2024, at the Baha Mar Convention, Arts and Entertainment Centre in Nassau, The Bahamas.
This three-day series featured keynote addresses, speeches, plenary sessions, and the signing of deals and agreements in relation to diverse projects across African and Caribbean countries.
At the conference, participants re-echoed the need to appropriately mobilise resources for the African continent through self-help and self-reliance. With the emergence of ‘Global Africa,’ actions and commitments by the public and private sectors must be geared towards giving the African continent the necessary impetus to become a competing force in the global economy.
We are proud to have had Adeola Sunmola represent us at this significant event and are committed to fostering discussions that will promote economic prosperity for Africa.
