Sally Udoma has joined the firm as a Consultant in its Energy and Arbitration practice areas. Sally comes to the firm after a 30 year career in the oil industry; she joins us from her last position as Regional General Counsel in Chevron's Global Upstream organisation, with responsibility for Europe, Eurasia and the Middle East. Over the course of her career (during which she worked in Lagos and Paris for a major European oil company (Elf) and Lagos and London for a major US oil company (Chevron), she has advised on, and been involved in negotiating and drafting, multiple, often complex, agreements for upstream acquisitions, joint ventures and operations, and had responsibility for managing dispute resolution for the wide variety of contractual and other disputes that naturally arise in the course of operations of a major oil producing company in Nigeria and elsewhere.
