Miss Funmi Olojo is a core member of the firm's Energy and Natural Resources team and has been involved in a number of transactions ranging across her areas of specialisations which include oil and gas, corporate restructuring and project finance
As part of her oil and gas practice, she has advised a number of oil and gas investors and operators on matters relating to the acquisition and of interests in, divestment from and the operation of marginal fields in Nigeria. She also advises oil and gas sector participants on the structuring of their approach and operations to comply with local content laws, and on raising finance for gas projects in Nigeria. Her general corporate experience has included advising on corporate restructuring issues and on investments by foreign financial institutions in Nigerian real estate.
Funmi contributed to the Nigerian chapter of the 2010 edition of Getting the Deal Through - Securities Finance, an international comparative guide to law and regulation in over 100 jurisdictions. Together with other members of the firm's oil and gas team, she regularly contributes to the Energy and Natural Resources Newsletter of the International Law Office.
